Effect of Stabilizing Resistance, CT Class, and MOV Maximum Clamping Voltage on High-Impedance Differential Scheme Performance

This paper describes the design of a new 87Z relay and provides high-current test results for an 87Z scheme with different stabilizing resistance values, CT classes and ratios, and MOV clamping voltages.
